The WSCF has had a historical relationship with the international ecumenical center of Agape in Northern Italy, which helped build right after World War II as a symbol of reconciliation among the nations that had been at war in the conflict.

The AD1 trainings at the United Nations are geared to build capacity for young leaders to do quality advocacy work at the UN Centers in New York, Paris and Nairobi. This is the second training, following one in Nairobi earlier this year. The participants will be trained jointly by experts from within the YMCA, World Organization of Scout Movement, World Students Christian Federation, UN system, and other relevant partners.
Noah Gillespie from WSCF-NA attended the annual International Coordination Meeting of Youth Organizations (ICMYO) at the United Nations held in New York City from September 21-22, 2013. The purpose was to gather international youth organizations from around the world in order to shape the future of a global youth movement capable of involving young people in the policies and work of the United Nations.

Peace Activist Audrey Tobias, 89 years of age, is scheduled to have a hearing on October 3rd at 10am regarding her decision to refuse to fill in her census. This decision was made due to the knowledge that Lockheed Martin, weapons manufacturer, is contracted to process the census.
