Call for Nominations and Applications for Fundraising Chair of

World Student Christian Federation’s

North American Regional Committee

The World Student Christian Federation (WSCF)’s North American Region is currently looking for candidates to run for the nomination of a fundraising chair for its North American Regional Committee (NARC). This position conveys full membership on the North American Regional Committee, the highest decision-making and governing body of the WSCF-North America in between regional assemblies (NARAs). The fundraising chair will assist the North American Regional Committee and the Regional Secretary in the region’s efforts to secure funding for its functioning, for implementing programming and for ensuring long term financial stability. The region works closely with other fundraising bodies, including but not limited to the WSCF US Trustees, WSCF Canada the Interregional Office (IRO) and other regional offices (ROs) of the Federation. The WSCF is planning to enhance its fundraising efforts to guarantee its successful work in the present and the future by researching new donors and cultivating current ones, by developing better databases for individual donations and by developing a long-term strategy to secure funds for operating and programming expenses as well as to grow the WSCF endowment fund. Experience in fundraising, grant writing and donor relationships is preferred but willingness to learn by providing a leadership role is of essence.

Applications will be collected by a nomination committee and recommendation for a candidate will be presented to the full NARC for election. Ideally, the person should commit to the attend the North American Regional Committee meeting to be held on March 1-4, 2012.
