Universal Day of Prayer for Students 2010
Sunday, February 21, 2010
The Universal Day of Prayer for Students is one of the oldest ecumenical traditions, dating back to 1898. Since that time, the UDPS has been a way for Christians around the world to join together and maintain a sense of unity across the vast physical distance that may separate us. This day recognizes the value and uniqueness of the institution of education in our societies, and brings together a rich occassion for theological reflection, solidarity, and renewal both in our educational institutions and in our communities of faith.
This year, the WSCF has prepared a liturgy and other helpful materials that reflect this year's theme
of Climate Justice that you may wish to adapt to your setting.
